The Poetry Trials

Learners in Year 8 and Year 9 have had their poems selected for publication in an anthology The Poetry Trials – Northern Ireland & Wales which is due for publication in February 2016.

They were chosen based on perception, imagination, expression, creativity and use of language. Their poems will then be entered in the final where the top 5 poets chosen will be invited to make a video for the Poetry Trials final. The successful entries included ‘The Legend of the Underworld’ by Amy Jones, ‘Frank the Zombie’ by Grace Mangan and ‘Gentle Giants’ by Molly Owen.
