Reaching the end of a journey
Friday May 23rd marked the final day “in school” for our Year 11 learners.
They were ‘sent off’ in style with a morning of activities. A special assembly began the day with speeches and gifts. Awards were given out by Miss Kelly, winners were nominated by the year group. This was followed by a croissant breakfast in the restaurant with shirt signing and photographs.
Our leavers depart for their exams and their life beyond year 11. They have been an excellent year group, showing maturity, outstanding behaviour and positive attitude. As a school we wish them the very best of luck for the new paths that they will follow, and hope that the years they have spent at Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan have been ones full of memories that they can look back on with pride.
