Welcome to the partnership between Namong Senior High Technical School of Kumasi, Ghana and Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan. We have both secured a grant which will allow teachers to embark on reciprocal visit to exhibit Ghanaian and UK education, exchange cultures, teaching and learning experiences.

Every year a new group of pupils start their exciting learning journey at Emrys ap Iwan. Back in 2007, five fresh faced year 7’s were photographed sitting together chatting in the school grounds and since then this image has been widely used in publicity material by the school.
Like all Emrys pupils, they have benefitted from excellent teaching, exciting curriculum choices and a wide range of enrichment experiences. Now, five years on, they have completed their compulsory education and, like many other pupils in the year group, have gained outstanding GCSE results.
Between them, Hope, Toni, Tom, Dylan and Adam have a total of 17A* and 34 A grades.
