Smashing GCSE Results

Ysgol Emrys ap Iwan are celebrating after the school has achieved results which smash all previous records on all measures.

The school is celebrating its best GCSE results ever with 86% of students achieving 5 A*-C, an increase of 8% from last year.   100% of learners left with 5 or more GCSEs, again a significant increase on last year.  The percentage of learners achieving the top grades has also been outstanding with a significant number of learners achieving 5 grades A*-A.

Outstanding achievers, who all achieved 8 A*-A or equivalent at GCSE, include;

Rina Ahmed; Joel Cunnah; Hannah Mainon; Isabella McQuillan; Emily Pearson; Maisie Pepper; Lewis Rich; Darci Tyler.
